Payment, Insurance, and Billing
Charges are based on time spent as well
as severity and complexity of the urologic problems. If you have any
questions concerning your charges, do not hesitate to discuss them with us.
Payment is expected at the time of
service.
As a participating provider with
Medicare, we will accept the allowable fee as set by the Medicare system.
This means you will be expected to pay your yearly deductible and 20% of the
Medicare allowable at the time of service. We will then file a claim
for payment of the remaining 80%. Medicare fees are established by the
federal government and not by
Florida Urology Specialists.
You will be able to file with your
secondary insurance carrier after receiving the explanation of benefits from
Medicare. Our staff will be happy to assist you if you have any
questions concerning billing and insurance. You will receive a bill if
there is an unsettled balance. You may use cash, check, Mastercard, or
Visa for payments.
